Launching CorrosionEngineer.Net

After considering the issue of whether to talk about my employer in this blog, thinking about what I wanted to write about my profession in general, and how to maximize the potential of owning the url CorrosionEngineer.Net, I have decided the following:

So I sunk a couple of bucks into hosting, started what will undoubtedly be an insane amount of effort, and created the start of CorrosionEngineer.Net. So far, it’s just a blog, but I outline what I intend to do and how I think I’ll do it. It is crazy, but it just might work.

Wish me luck.

    Hi Greg:

I enjoyed reading your website. Our company (corrosion coatings) is discussing setting up a corrosion blog, and I just sent your address to our internal discussion group as a good example of an individual blog. Our current thought is to have an internal blog, viewable by the world and comment enabled, where we discuss our development projects (except for formulations, detailed customer contact info, etc. We have a number of people who get excited by new products, so a blog could be a fun part of our work day, maybe productive too. Thanks for going into the water ahead of us!
